The Collective

So it's New You's Eve and I just want to say thank you to life.  2009 has been a tremendous year for me, spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially....and all.  Some of the experiences pleasant while others taught priceless lessons.  I am truly grateful.  I made a conscious effort to be better this year and last night at dinner I had an amazing conversation with my friend and we both looked back over the year....and I was like...."I can honestly say I am happy."

Why am I summing up my entire year with one word?  Because it's really that simple to me.  This 2009 journey has been a true blessing, a true lesson and most importantly...MY JOURNEY!  Defining myself is a beautiful experience.  Asking the Universe for what I want in my life and it being realized...AWESOME!!!!  Being surrounded by beautiful, wise, motivating individuals and energy and recognizing it....AWESOME!!!!  Communicating in a loving way...laughing more...being open to exploring life more deeply.

I can honestly say with all sincerity that I am a Lover....a Lover of Life...a Lover of all things positive, progressive, peaceful and precious!  Keep living and keep loving!!!

So...as I seem to start out when writing in my journal...and that's how I'm starting this here post....
I am constantly seeking how to better my life and I found this here website www.ThingsToBeHappyAbout.com and it's pretty simple, pretty cool and something there for even the little angels in your life.  *smile*  The tips below struck me and when I get "struck" by information...that is my sign to apply it. 

• Follow your breath while carrying on a conversation - breathing long, light, even breaths while listening to a friend's words and to your own replies.

• Practice opening and letting go.
